AMEC Industrial were awarded a contract to produce the design for the construction of a reinforcement pipeline from the Isle of Grain to Gravesend South AGI, including the installation of pig-trap facilities at Gravesend and the Isle of Grain.
At the Isle of Grain LNG facility, National Grid were to extend the LNG storage capacity of the site by constructing additional LNG storage vessels. This additional stored gas will be vaporised and pressurised and used to supply gas to the UK gas transmission system.
QEM Solutions were contracted to assist the Amec / National Grid Alliance with the development of existing and new design processes in line with CDM and National Grid requirements.
