QEM Solutions were asked to assist with Commissioning Support for Darke Engineering Ltd on the Spalding Power Expansion Project for Intergen.
The scope included the commissioning documentation, coordination between necessary parties and management of the commissioning process on behalf of the project.
QEM provided a suitable Consultant in the form of a competent Engineer, with the QEM Solutions back-up support to Darke as required.
QEM exhibited experience of working on gas pipeline construction projects, commissioning and NRO writing experience whilst working in Power Station environments.
QEM was responsible for assisting with the following activities:

Review of pre-commissioning and commissioning requirements

Development of Commissioning plans & method statements

Attending commissioning meetings as required

Coordinating of the Commissioning with the Client, E&I / boiler house installers with support of the DEL Project Manager

Management and control of the Commissioning on site.
