HALO is the world's oldest and largest humanitarian landmine clearance organisation. For more than two decades, we have set the standard for the sector through technical innovation and robust management.
QEM worked with The HALO trust to ensure that all of their Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental management processes were in palce in line with iSO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007.
BM Trada then stepped in as the UKAS Accredited certification body and carried out a thorough audit on boht the systems and processes, successfully certifiying HALO to all three standards.
The management system was based on an increasingly popular and powerful online application called isCompliant (details of which can be found at ( http://www.iscompliant.com ).
