Sometimes we manage a project from the very start and continue to be involved until the end reports. Other times we are brought in to provide specialist services in specific areas. Each brings different challenges. Each has different outcomes.

QEM Soltuions are providing the Senior Project Manager for the H21 Hydrogen Innovation Project, on behalf of Northern Gas Networks. The role includes:

  • Develop and manage the H21 Buxton and Spadeadam testing sites from concept to commissioning for the innovation project.
  • Identify and co-ordinate resolution of potential and actual problems;
  • Chair regular meetings;
  • Finalise the design process
  • Manage the G17, or equivalent, change procedure
  • Chairing design risk studies
  • Provide technical support.
  • Investigate and source a selection of suitable fittings and materials for evaluation purposes
  • Prepare the scope of work for the installation works
  • Review and evaluate the construction tenders
  • Attend project meetings and other meetings as required.
  • Manage the smooth flow of information between all members of the wider stakeholders
  • Plan and coordinate and liaise with relevant departments and the main contractors.
  • Ensure information and drawings are provided to the main works contractor of on-site services.
  • Ensure all site activities are carried out in accordance with procedures, specifications, legislations etc
  • Review the Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
